The coordinator / therapist of NEXUS Counselling is Elias JIMENEZ BUENO, he lived in England for over twenty years, where he received his training in Family therapy, marriage guidance counselljng, sex therapy & personal and family counselling.

He finally returned to Spain in 1988. He was a part–time lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences at Northumbria University and was also Youth Officer for Newcastle upon Tyne Education Dpt.. (Scotswood Area)

He has a Bachelor of Science degree (Sociology and Applied Social Research), from the University of Northumbria, a Master in Health & Safety (Sociology & Psychology) by Suffolk University.

He also has the following academic university diplomas:

Dip. Gestalt Therapy,
Dip. Analysis Transacional,
Dip. Psychoanalytically Oriented Group DynamicS,

He has over 30 years experience in, personal and family therapy, group work training in various Departments of Health, Education & Social Services in various public Education & Social Services Dpts. in England.

Between 1974 and 1978, he was a Sociotherapist in the psychiatric section of the Civil Hospital in Malaga.

He was also a Professor of Social Psychology at the Municipal Police Academy of Malaga.

In 1989 He created the Municipal Drug Service Dpt in Mijas, of which was its director for three years.

His philosophy of life follows the precepts of Zen Buddhism.

Born in Malaga in 1945. He is divorced, 75 years young and lives in Alhaurin el Grande He has been offering his professional services in Fuengirola since 1988.
